|December 3||A Country Christmas in Lights is available nightly December 3-31 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.at The Rock Ranch – Admission is free, but if you would like to make a donation you may do so. This year The Rock Ranch is providing special snacks, shopping and activities for children, on select nights, in the large building they refer to as Truett’s Barn. On Dec. 13 & 14; Dec. 19, 20, 21 and 23rd, families may park and stop in Truett’s Barn for some Christmas cheer. They’ll enjoy Christmas music, shopping among jams, jellies and gift items from the farmer’s market, sit by a warm fire, or enjoy tasty fresh-baked goods and hot meals for purchase if they’re hungry. There is no charge to enter Truett’s Barn. The kids can go through the Christmas Crafts Experience complete with Santa’s elves, a photo spot, cookie decorating, ornament making, letters to Santa, Christmas movies in the theater room and more for $10 (charge for kids only, adults tag along for no charge). Anyone can enter Truett’s Barn, the $10 allows access to the Elves’ special activities and crafts section of the barn.|

|December 4||Lunch and Learn on the Affordable Health Care Act – Guest Speaker Jeff Thompson a partner with Constangy, Brooks & Smith LLP - 11:45 am to 1:15 pm at the Upson County Senior Center Cost is $12 to attend and will include lunch and the program. Please RSVP to the Thomaston-Upson Chamber of Commerce by Monday, November 25. Come and learn more about what the Affordable Health Care Act is going to mean for you and your business. Mr. Ernie Vaughn, owner of the Tasty Shoppe would have won the cash prize at our September After Hours if he had been present for the event. Make sure that you attend this event on December 5, or you just may miss your chance at some extra Holiday Cash!|

|December 7 & 14||Breakfast (or lunch) with Santa on December 7 and December 14. Enjoy a hot breakfast and a personal visit with Santa in Truett's Barn for only $13.95 per person! Children 2 years old and under may sit in their parent's lap and eat from their parent's plate for free. Age 3 years old and older will require a ticket (their own reserved seat). The menu includes waffles, scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, biscuits, gravy and drinks. Families may bring their own cameras to take candid shots in the dining room as Santa visits each table. This year personal photos are also allowed at Santa's photo scene. Each child will have a chance to sit in Santa's lap at a professional quality photo spot while moms and dads snap photos. There is no extra charge for photos this year because you are the photographer so bring your cameras. There will be activities (such as wagon ride farm tours, Christmas movies in the theater room, letters to Santa, etc.) to keep your kids entertained after breakfast while waiting your turn to meet with Santa.|
