FACILITY INFORMATION

2006

 

 

Existing:

·        3,000 square ft. terminal building with conference room, pilot lounge and flight planning.

·        A 400' X 400' ramp adjacent to the terminal building for transient flights.

·        A 400' X 500' ramp with allocated adjacent space for 4 to 6 corporate hangars and separate access off Delray Rd.

·        70 T-Hangar spaces with 3 access points to the main taxiway.

·        60 acres of undeveloped space with access to the main taxiway.

·        12,000 gallon storage each for Avgas and JetA and designated fuel trucks for each.

·        Runways(100' width) & Taxiways(35' width with wide radius turns) all stressed for 55,000# dual wheel gear.

·        RWY 30 - 5001 ft. ILS approach with DME, middle and outer marker beacons, medium approach lighting system with strobes rail, precision approach path indicator and runway end identification lights approved for 200 ft ceiling and 1/2 mile visibility. Displaced thresholds give 6350 ft. accelerate stop distance for takeoff.

·        RWY 12 - 5701 ft. landing and 6350 ft. takeoff with precision approach path indicator.

·        Automated Weather Observation Service reporting on VHF radio, telephone and via Flight Service Stations through modem service.

 

Year 2006 Project:

Construct (4) 60' X 80' Corporate Hangars for lease in 2006.

 

Year 2007 Project:

Install High Intensity Runway Lighting and upgrade existing Ground Communication Outlet to direct contact with Atlanta Approach rather than Flight Service Station for IFR departure clearances.

 

Year 2008 Project:

Strengthen existing apron and construct additional apron and taxiways.
