Seeking the quiet of nature? Visit Sprewell Bluff State Park and enjoy the
beauty of the Flint River. If you are looking for a peaceful experience,
walk along the Flint at the bluff and take in the sparkling waters, rough
mountain terrain and lush grassy areas. The bluff has it all!
Visitors can cool off in the gently flowing river, picnic on the
river's edge, toss horseshoes in a grassy field, hike a three-mile trail
along the bank and up rocky bluffs, or use the boat ramp to launch your
canoe, kayak or small fishing boat. There are also barbeque grills, a
children's playground and restrooms.
Ranger Trent Wicklund
oversees the park operations and can be contacted by calling
706-646-6026 or visit their website at www.gastateparks.org. Park hours are
Thursday- Sunday 7 am
until dark.
