Family Medical Center is open Monday-Saturday 8:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m.  No Appointment is necessary and most insurance plans are accepted.

Upson Regional Medical Center

Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, all year long the Emergency Department is open to meet the health needs of Upson County and surrounding areas.  For those less severe medical problems and illnesses that may occur when physician offices are closed, the Emergency Department provides UrgiCare which is designed to provide quicker care for your convenience.  UrgiCare hours of operation are 5pm-11pm, Monday-Friday, and 11am-11pm on Weekends and Holidays.

The Health Department is open Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5 pm to provide healthcare services that include physicals for children and adults, lab work, marriage blood tests, cholesterol screenings, and cancer screening programs.  WIC and other programs for children and women of childbearing age are also available.  Services are provided by a Nurse Practitioner and expanded roll Registered Nurses, and are based on household income on a sliding fee scale.

The Community Support Services consist of rehabilitative, environmental support, and targeted case management considered essential to help persons in gaining access to necessary services and are intended to restore an individual to the best possible level of functioning in the community.  Services are available on a sliding fee scale based on income and include Crisis Intervention, Short-term Individual Counseling, Substance Abuse Services, Child and Adolescent Services, Psychiatric Evaluations and Psychiatric Medication Management, and Community Support Services.  The Upson Counseling Center also provides Anger Management and Alcohol Awareness Education Groups for a minimal fee.  Hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with an Emergency contact telephone number for after hours.
