The Thomaston-Upson Chamber of Commerce Adult Leadership Upson Class of 2007 had an over-night retreat at Camp Thunder on August 13 & 14. The class learned leadership, team building and problem solving skills, and facing personal fears.

The Class of 2007 will meet every month throughout the 2006-2007 year to tour various industries, local city, county and state government, healthcare and recreation located in Thomaston, and how it all works together. The class will visit the State Capitol, learn from a facilitator about economic development in the state and complete a community project before their graduation in 2007.
